Buy a Brick…Build a Legacy

I’m excited to announce, on behalf of the Board of Directors, our ‘Buy a Brick…Build a Legacy’ fundraising drive to help pay for the planned and sorely needed renovations of the 2.5 and Beta Chi bathrooms, which we believe will dramatically improve our chapter house and help take it to the next level.  Scroll to the page bottom to order your brick today.

As I hope you’re all aware, we recently installed an incredibly stylish and attractive new brick paver sitting and gathering area in our front lawn facing the portals. It has received rave reviews by all who have seen it, placing the front landscape of our house on par with any other fraternity’s on campus. At right, you can see our ribbon-cutting ceremony for this project from Homecoming 2011.

We now extend an invitation to our alumni brothers to purchase an engraved brick to be installed in this gathering area so that the inside of our chapter house can match its outside. As seen in the options above, your brick will be personalized with your name and pledge class, or as a memorial for a deceased brother, or an appropriate inscription of your choice. In order to maintain design uniformity and the attractiveness of the area, all submissions must be reviewed and approved by the fund drive committee – for any questions, please email me.

Since 2005 when we started rehabbing the chapter house, we have all seen the improvement and the giant strides our house has taken. The new roof, sign, window blinds and cornices, the wood flooring in our entryway and dining room, the living room’s home theater system, the Centennial grill and patio area and recent front landscape work – all made possible thanks to your generous support. The goal of rehabbing the bathrooms has been a long held wish for many of our members. Now, with your support, we can make this dream a reality. So please consider doing your share by purchasing a brick and supporting the ‘Buy a Brick…Build a Legacy’ drive. We hope that in the years to come you will be able to bring your children and grandchildren to this area to see your name, and share with them your memories at Psi U.

All bricks are engraved using state-of-the-art sandblasting technology. This will insure strength and durability for many years to come. Additionally, all donations will be counted towards our yearly Dues & Fundraiser Drive.  Decimals and spaces do count towards the 13 character limit.

• Measures 4″ x 8″ Includes 3 lines of text with up to 13 characters per line

• Measures 8″ x 8″ Includes 6 lines of text with up to 13 characters per line
• Donors who contribute $5000 or more to the project will have an 8×8 brick that will also have a special logo signifying their enormous generosity. You will be given an option to purchase the Diamond logo after filling out the form.
